Open Dress Rehearsals: Honouring a Lifelong Friend of Music

The Update

We are thrilled to name our ESO Open Dress Rehearsals in honour of Del Dilkie, a devoted supporter of the Winspear Centre and your Edmonton Symphony Orchestra for more than 20 years.

Del’s generosity has created wonderful opportunities for young people to experience music and learn what it takes to put on a show, making the arts accessible to everyone. Like her good friend, Tommy Banks, her passion and love for the Winspear shine as brightly as the music she champions.

Tickets are available now for Open Dress Rehearsals, presented by Del Dilkie!

Students in Grades 7-12 will get a behind-the-scenes look at the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra's rehearsal process, through a live broadcast feed and Q&A sessions with composers and conductors. It’s the perfect experience for aspiring musicians and orchestral enthusiasts alike! With limited spots at only $11.50 per student, some shows have already sold out, so don’t miss your chance!
